![]() Steer Clear of Newton Nissan South, in Shelbyville, TN ![]() Had we not immediately looked under the hood, we would not have known until what might have been months later. ![]() The S/O was assigned a tech, and it was started right there on the invoice. Refund received, but never any followup for WHY they charged a customer $238.63, and didn't do the job. Owner's response, "Well, I can't blame you there". I told him he was going to refund our $238.63 IMMEDIATELY, and that we would NEVER EVER EVER do business with them ever again, or take any vehicles to their dealer for service again. The owner of the dealership called and simply said he didn't have any explanation of why this happened. I immediately wrote the owner and told him what happened (I wrote the owner first, because I knew the GM and service manager would try to make some excuse for why they didn't replace the battery after two and a half hours). Got home, out of curiosity, popped the good to check out the new battery, and WHAT DO WE FIND? Battery in, Battery out, what supplies were needed)? Total charge $238.63, which included $24.49 in SHOP SUPPLIES (for what, I have no idea. Supposedly replaced battery, 999M1-ND35C. On 6/15/22, went in for a new battery, since corrosion kept appearing on the posts/terminal. If you live in Middle Tennessee, Steer clear/Beware of NEWTON NISSAN SOUTH, in Shelbyville TN, for ANY service needs.
